Mini-Symposia

Mini-symposia gather 6 to 12 talks on a focused theme, organised by one or more colleagues who recruit the speakers and chair the sessions. Recent ICNC meetings have hosted between 13 and 20 of them.

Call for mini-symposium proposals

Proposals are welcome on any theme within the scope of the conference. Send the following to xiaohang.fang@ucalgary.ca with the subject line “ICNC 2027 mini-symposium proposal”:

• title of the mini-symposium;
• names, affiliations and e-mail addresses of the organisers;
• a description of about 200 words;
• a list of expected speakers and tentative titles (at least six talks).

Proposal deadline: 16 October 2026 tentative. Accepted mini-symposia will be listed on this page and selectable in the abstract submission form. Speakers in a mini-symposium submit their abstracts through the same form as contributed talks and register as regular participants.
