Accommodation

Rooms for participants are reserved at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, on the conference campus, at a conference rate of CAD 349 per night — roughly 30–50% cheaper than comparable hotels in the town of Banff in June, which is peak season. The number of rooms in the conference block is limited, so we recommend booking early. The booking link will be published on this page.

Room types and rates

Rates are in Canadian dollars, per room per night, for single or double occupancy, and do not include applicable taxes, fees and levies at the time of stay. To inquire about additional room types and suites, call Banff Centre Reservations at +1 800 884 7574.

Facility fee. Guest rooms at Banff Centre are subject to a facility fee of CAD 23.00 per room per night (plus applicable taxes and fees). The fee includes access to the Sally Borden Fitness and Recreation facilities (aquatic facilities, weight room, running track and climbing gym), all North American telephone calls, and an optional CAD 3.00 per room per night Eco-Stay environmental program fee; to opt out of the Eco-Stay fee, contact guest services at check-out.

Lloyd Hall Queen (1 bed)

One queen-sized bed, bathroom with glass-enclosed shower, flat-screen TV with free cable channels, comfortable seating, a desk with power port and ergonomic chair. Amenities include mini fridge, coffee maker, iron and board, and hairdryer.

PDC Room (1 bed)

Good to know

• Two-bed rooms can accommodate up to four guests.
• Banff Centre is a pet-free facility.
• Rooms are a few minutes' walk from the Kinnear Centre, where the sessions take place. Breakfast and lunch on June 2–4 are included for delegates staying at Banff Centre within the ICNC 2027 room block; delegates staying elsewhere arrange their own breakfast and lunch (coffee breaks are included for everyone).

In the town of Banff

Hotels in town are about 15 to 30 minutes on foot from Banff Centre, or a short bus or taxi ride. Because June is peak season in Banff, hotel rates in town are usually much higher — conference rooms at Banff Centre are roughly 30–50% cheaper than comparable hotels in town — and the number of rooms in the conference block is limited, so book at Banff Centre early. Participants staying off campus are welcome at the welcome reception, the coffee breaks and the banquet, which are included in the registration fee; breakfast and lunch are included only for delegates staying at Banff Centre within the ICNC 2027 room block.
